Charles M. Clodfelter
Charles M. Clodfelter brings more than six decades of ministry and a lifetime of personal experience to American Code of Ethics: Rules to Live By.
Born in 1940, Charles holds a bachelor’s degree and is the father of three children, as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather. His love for God, family, and country has had a lasting influence on his life and ministry.
The idea behind this book first took shape as a smaller booklet. Encouragement from others led Charles to develop those original thoughts into a much broader examination of ethics and everyday responsibility.
Throughout the book, he draws attention to the choices people repeatedly face: whether to speak with respect, honor the truth, remain faithful, manage money responsibly, admit mistakes, value family, practice self-discipline, preserve meaningful traditions, and leave something worthwhile for those who follow.
His purpose is practical. Rather than presenting character as an abstract ideal, Charles asks readers to consider how their principles show up in the lives they actually lead.
